Owned and operated by broker Don Gockel, this Palmdale, CA based brokerage is dedicated to serving the needs of clients in Lancaster, Pearblossom, Acton, Littlerock, Leona Valley, Lake Los Angeles, Lake Elizabeth, and Rosamond.
Gockel, as a second generation REALTOR®, recalls having his father show him the basics of real estate at a young age.
“My father would ask me to make cold calls to people who might be interested in receiving information about real estate,” said Gockel. “It really taught me a lot about getting comfortable talking to people and eventually working with them.”
In 2010, after nine years of selling real estate as an agent, Gockel made the decision to get his broker’s license and start his own boutique brokerage. His company handles residential purchases and sales, land listings, investment properties, and property management.
Although he didn’t intend to have agents work alongside him at his brokerage, his natural leadership style and high standards led agents to ask if they could work with him.
“I started my own brokerage for myself, but over the years, agents at other companies asked if they could work with me. I enjoy helping others, so I agreed and it has been an enjoyable experience.” said Gockel.
Gockel prides himself on not having used a piece of paper at his brokerage… since 2008. His office is a completely paperless office. Having a green office is not only important to his technology heavy brokerage, but the environment as well.
In November of 2014, Gockel was going through his mailbox when he came across information about NextHome. After further research, he liked the high level of technology the company provided, the clean, fresh look of the logo design, and the broker support that NextHome offered.
