Pleasanton, CA— August 19, 2016 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Transitions. The brokerage is the 3rd NextHome franchise location in the state of Michigan.

Located in Commerce Township, the brokerage is owned and operated by real estate veteran, Darren Yearsley. The company is dedicated to serving the needs of residents in Oakland and Livingston Counties including the cities of Oakland, Milford, Commerce Township, South Lyon, Brighton, and West Bloomfield.

Licensed since 1987, Yearsley started his career a nationally franchised brokerage in Pennsylvania, where he served the needs of hundreds of clients in two states – Pennsylvania and Delaware. For nearly two decades, he provided world-class service to residents of the Northeast region.

By being client-centric with his business model, Yearsley’s efforts consistently saw him close nearly 50 transactions annually.

After years in the real estate field, he found himself looking for a new challenge. Wanting change, Yearsley turned to a different sales field to start anew.

In 2006, Yearsley relocated to the suburbs of Detroit, where he took on a new role as a corporate sales accountant for Centurion Medical Products – one of the largest medical product companies in the United States.

Under his leadership, the company saw his designated territory go from $15,000/yr in sales to in excess of $2 million in just under five years.

Leading his division until late 2015, changes in the medical insurance industry had Yearsley thinking of returning to real estate. After 10 years of being gone, he was re-kindled in his passion for selling homes and this time, he wanted to help others in their real estate career. Yearsley was determined to open his own brokerage.

Knowing that the real estate landscape had changed significantly since his last year of active real estate sales, Yearsley looked to partner with a progressive real estate franchise to help him launch his new office.

NextHome was a natural fit for his brokerage vision.

“Through all my real estate franchise research, the NextHome platform, tools, and virtual presence was second to none,” said Yearsley. “The company provides a new spin on brokerage technology in a world full of antiquated real estate models.”

The name NextHome Transitions was a direct result of Yearsley’s focus on client services.

“We want to help our clients transition to their next home,” said Yearsely. “No matter what age or situation, we want to be the resource to help them through their transition.”

Please join us in welcoming Darren and his team at NextHome Transitions to the NextHome family!
