Pleasanton, CA— December 28, 2016 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest location for the franchise, NextHome Realty Experts. The firm will represent the 3rd location in the state of Kentucky.
The brokerage will be owned and operated by real estate broker, Greg Raymer, and his wife, Stacy. The Bowling Green-based brokerage will provide residential real estate, commercial, multi-family, and investment property services to the Bowling Green area and surrounding towns of Warren County.
Located two hours south of Louisville, the city of Bowling Green and the surrounding metropolitan-area is home to just over 200,000 residents. The city is known for being home to the National Corvette Museum and the GM Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant.
In 2014, Forbes Magazine named Bowling Green as one of the Top 25 Places to Retire in the United States.
As a 14-year veteran of the real estate business, Greg started his career at a Century 21 brokerage in Bowling Green. Over the next six years, he built his business through traditional sales and adjusted to reflect market conditions when the recession hit in 2007.
“The market here in Bowling Green had a lot of unfortunate families affected by the recession,” recalls Greg. “I did as much as possible to provide a resource to help people save their homes and when they couldn’t, I made the effort to transition them to a new property as best as I could.”
His commitment to the community established Greg as a real estate resource to residents of Bowling Green. As his business grew, he found it to be the right time to open his own brokerage, Raymer Real Estate Services, LLC.
“I am fortunate to be able to not only work with my wife, but my two sons (Connor and Josh) work at our brokerage as well,” said Greg.
In 2016, the company saw sales in excess of 75 transactions. Greg started to look for an edge in technology and wanted to get in front of future real estate market trends.
“I listed a lot of foreclosure properties during the recession,” recalls Greg. “I wanted to make sure I diversified our business, rather than relying on us being asked to list foreclosures for banks. By being proactive, we will create a more predictable and rewarding business.”
“We understand the need to be more valuable for our clients and wanted to partner with a real estate franchise that understood our goal,” he added.
Greg found NextHome through the National Association of REALTORS® Magazine.
“When I saw what NextHome had to offer, I was very interested,” he said. “From the great looking marketing, the cutting-edge technology, and the support from the corporate team, I knew it was the right fit for our brokerage.”
Greg has transitioned his sons into key roles to keep the brokerage at the forefront of customer needs. Connor serves as the company’s buyer’s agent with a focus on first time and move up buyers, and Josh handles all technology for the company.
When not selling real estate, the Raymers are very involved in the local community. They enjoy participating and helping at their church and they also volunteer time with the Meals on Wheels program, which helps provide meals to the disabled and elderly residents of Bowling Green.
The Raymers attend Indianapolis Colts games and are big fans of the team. They also love to travel and they recently visited Rome and Spain for a family vacation.
Please join us in congratulating Greg, Stacy, Connor, Josh, and the rest of the team at NextHome Realty Experts on their brand new NextHome office!
