Pleasanton, CA— January 27, 2017 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the NextHome franchise – NextHome Platinum. This represents the 14th office location in the state of Florida.
Based out of Melbourne, the brokerage will be owned and operated by real estate veteran, Bill Kehoe, and will serve the needs of residents in Melbourne, Merritt Island, Rockledge, Viera, Cocoa Beach, and the remainder of Brevard County. NextHome Platinum provides services such as residential sales, luxury home sales, investment property sales, foreclosure property sales, and multi-family residential sales.
With an average sales price of $250,000, Melbourne is one of Florida’s most affordable coastal cities to buy a home.
Starting his real estate career over 20 years ago, Kehoe opened Kehoe Real Estate Services in 1997. He began as an independent real estate brokerage because at the time, he did not find value in the existing real estate franchise models.
“In 1997, the companies that were offering franchises all seemed to be the same,” recalls Kehoe. “There wasn’t a lot of difference between them and I knew I could get the services on my own for our agents.”
Building the brokerage with steady production increases, Kehoe saw annual sales for the company in excess of 100 transactions.
After 20 years of owning his own independent brokerage, Kehoe revisited the idea of what a real estate franchise could offer.
“I was introduced to NextHome through (Franchise Sales Manager) Jack Greacen,” said Kehoe. “I have known Jack for many years and have a lot of respect for him. When he told me he was now part of NextHome, I had interest in looking at the company.”
While Kehoe was intrigued by the branding and the franchise’s consumer-focused style and look, it was the technology that won him over.
“When I saw that NextHome had the tools and tech to solve the customer and agent problems of today, and put it together in an affordable format, I was in,” said Kehoe.
Even though Kehoe sells a lot of real estate, he maintains a strong belief in giving back to the real estate community and the political actions that help REALTORS®.
Kehoe has served on his local board, the Space Coast Association of REALTORS®, for several years. He has also been appointed a Director for Florida REALTORS®, is a National Association of REALTORS® Director, and has served as the District 2 REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Chairman for Fundraising.
When not selling real estate, Kehoe continues to give back in his local community. He is a volunteer at his college alma mater, the University of Central Florida, where he has set up the William M. Kehoe Scholarship, designed to provide financial assistance for UCF students with a major in real estate.
