Pleasanton, CA— July 20, 2017 NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Summit Realty. This branch location is the third NextHome location for business partners, Mark Moussa and Mike Harris. NextHome Summit Realty opened their first office in Knoxville, Tennessee in August of 2016.

In April 2017, the ownership group opened a branch location in Orlando, Florida. Adding this Franklin branch expands NextHome Summit Realty into its second location in the state of Tennessee.

This location will focus on residential sales, second home sales, investment property sales and luxury home in Davidson and Williamson Counties with a focus on the Greater Nashville metropolitan area.

Robin Barnes will serve as the Branch Manager and Managing Broker for Moussa and Harris. With over 25 years of real estate experience, the business partners are excited to have Barnes leading the way for their new office.

“Robin is a great addition to our team,” said Moussa. “With her extensive knowledge of the Nashville real estate market, she was the natural choice for the leader of our new location.”

With the new location, Moussa feels good about expanding into one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation.

“NextHome Summit Realty is now in Knoxville, Orlando, and now Nashville – three of the most in-demand cities in the United States when it comes to buying a home,” added Moussa.

Moussa, a journalism graduate from the University of Tennessee, started his real estate career in 2014 after 12 years as a business owner of several Verizon stores in Knoxville. He took the business skills needed to succeed in the wireless industry and applied that to his real estate career – creating immediate success in sales.

“I happened to have met a customer who was a successful real estate agent when they used to come into my store,” recalls Moussa. “After asking more about the real estate industry, and sending her a lot of referrals, I felt I could do very well in real estate sales through a lot of my experience as a small business owner.”

In his very first year, Moussa compiled an incredible 32 transactions sides closed. Asked to be the brokerage’s technology director in late 2014, Moussa added the responsibility, but it didn’t take away from his ability to sell.

In 2015, Moussa put his high-level prospecting skills to work and closed 56 transactions in the first six months of 2015 before taking the remainder of the year off to spend time with his three children – daughters Maya (11), Ali (8) and son, Zaen (9).

“Family is so important to me,” said Moussa. “After having a really good first part of the year, I thought it would be best to take the second part of the year and focus on family.”

With his exceptional numbers, Moussa began researching the possibility of opening his own brokerage. A simple Google search led him to NextHome.

“NextHome was the right fit for my business and the team that I am working alongside,” said Moussa. “Knowing what lead generation I need to grow my company, NextHome made so much sense.”
