Pleasanton, CA — January 3, 2018 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Cornerstone Real Estate. The brokerage represents the 52nd location opened in California for the NextHome franchise.
Based in Davis, the company will be owned and operated by real estate broker Cory Gold. NextHome Cornerstone Real Estate will provide real estate services such as single family residential sales, first-time home buyers, multi-family properties, condo sales, and investment sales to the cities of Davis, Woodland, Dixon, Winters, West Sacramento, and Downtown Sacramento.
The city of Davis is located 15 miles west of Downtown Sacramento and is the most populated city in Yolo County with over 65,000 residents.
With more than 40 years in the real estate industry, Gold brings a wealth of knowledge in real estate sales and leadership to NextHome.
In addition to actively selling real estate his entire career, Gold has been running and leading real estate offices since 2003.
In 2010, he took over as full-time manager of the Coldwell Banker Real Estate office in Davis.
“I love being able to mentor and help agents reach their potential,” said Gold. “Being a managing broker allows me to follow my passion of coaching and helping agents reach their goals personally and professionally.”
As a manager of two offices, Gold was responsible for overseeing 70 agents who closed more than 600 transactions annually.
Gold was introduced to NextHome several years ago when he saw member of the franchise’s leadership team speak at the California Association of REALTORS® meetings. After following the company and the growth of the franchise, he knew affiliating with NextHome was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up when the time came to open his own brokerage.
“I loved that NextHome allowed me to not reinvent the wheel when it came to services for our agents,” said Gold. “NextHome Cornerstone Real Estate will have like-minded people who are passionate about their real estate career.”
When not selling real estate, Gold and his wife of 25 years, Edie, enjoy time on the water. A former competitive water-skier, Gold likes to waterski and wake surf on Lake Berryessa and the Sacramento River.
The couple have two children – daughter Jennifer (age 23) and son Kyle (age 20).
