Pleasanton, CA — April 15, 2020 — NextHome is pleased to announce the newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Realty Experience, based in Brandon, Mississippi. The brokerage represents the fifth office location opened in Mississippi for the NextHome franchise and the 458th NextHome office opened nationally.
The brokerage will serve commercial and residential clients across the Jackson metropolitan area. The cities NextHome Realty Experience serves include Brandon, Flowood, Richland, Florence, Clinton, Pearl, Ridgeland, and Madison.
NextHome Realty Experience is owned by local entrepreneur Ryan Porter. Joining Ryan on the brokerage’s leadership team is top-producing Jackson REALTOR® Leigh Jones. Leigh moved to Jackson in 2011 where she built a successful church. Today, she has devoted herself full-time to serving area buyers and sellers with an unparalleled level of service and marketing savvy.
Ryan is a local business leader who joined the real estate industry in 2016. Before embarking on a real estate sales career, Ryan opened several businesses and is the owner of Ranco Transmissions.
Ryan’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to begin investing in real estate properties. In 2016, Ryan obtained his real estate license to help with his investing and he began working with a local independent brokerage, McKee Realty.
However, entrepreneurial Ryan always knew that he wanted to run his own brokerage.
In 2019 he began looking at franchises and, after months of research, decided NextHome had what he was looking for.
“NextHome provides all the tools I need that are right for my business,” Ryan said. “Great training and marketing are key areas to make an agent successful, and NextHome excels at both. And for the price, partnering with NextHome was a no-brainer.”
Today, Ryan and his team of six professional agents are bringing unparalleled marketing and customer service to the Jackson-area real estate market.

When he isn’t building his business, Ryan actively serves others in his community and around the world. Through Ranco Transmissions, Ryan offers free or discounted work for small churches that can’t afford to repair their vans and busses. Alongside his daughter, Ryan also travels to Mexico where he partners with local organizations to repair vehicles and build infrastructure.
Ryan is the proud father of two daughters; Madison (20) and Kara (15).
