Pleasanton, CA — July 30, 2021 — NextHome is pleased to announce the newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Select Realtors, based in Palm Desert, California. The brokerage represents the 490th office to join the NextHome franchise out of 519 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Select Realtors will serve clients across Southern California’s Coachella Valley including Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Desert Hot Springs, Indio, and Coachella.
The brokerage is owned by veteran Coachella Valley REALTOR® Daniel Trevino. Daniel’s outstanding career began in 1999 when he joined Tarbell Realtors. Over the next 20 years, Daniel became one of the valley’s premier real estate professionals. For many years, he was consistently one of the top producing agents in a brokerage of more than 4,000 people. In addition to his sales skills, Daniel is also an accomplished custom home builder.
Daniel eventually diversified into REO and short sale properties during the real estate downturn that accompanied The Great Recession. His skills and work ethic helped Daniel attract significant business from many of the nation’s largest asset holders.
In 2010, Daniel was offered a position as an office manager for Tarbell Realtor’s busy Palm Desert location. For the next 11 years, he discovered a passion for nurturing agent talent.
“I liked knowing the different personalities of every single person,” Daniel said. “My brokerage was known for hiring diverse talent and it was very rewarding helping someone who might be from a foreign country learn how to be successful. It was an absolute joy for me to show people how to make money in real estate.”
Daniel went on to become a broker associate at a nationally franchised brand before joining NextHome.
Daniel’s skills and experience were sought after by many area brokerages, leading him to consider opening his own independent office.
“I was talking it over with my son one evening, and he brought up NextHome,” Daniel said. “We did our research and discovered that no one else has the innovation that NextHome has. The tools and technology that NextHome provides are the best in the industry.”
Today, Daniel is setting NextHome Select Realtors apart by combining NextHome’s support and innovation with his own extensive area experience.
Daniel has held various leadership positions in both national and regional real estate associations. In 2018, he founded the Coachella Valley chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and he currently serves as the organization’s membership director. He is a certified Form Trainer with the National Association of REALTORS® and a member of the California Association of REALTORS®.
Daniel is also dedicated to serving in his community. For the past five years, Daniel’s Team worked to provide turkeys for needy families during the holiday season. Last year, Daniel’s Team was able to donate 30 turkeys to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.
Daniel has been married to his wife Mayra for 30 years. He is the proud father of two grown children, Daniel Trevino II who is a newly minted attorney and Estefania who is studying psychology at the University of California, Riverside.
