Pleasanton, CA — December 29, 2021 — NextHome is pleased to announce the newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Southland, based in Porter Ranch, California. The brokerage represents the 504th office to join the NextHome franchise out of 555 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Southland will serve clients across the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys, including Northridge, Chatsworth, Reseda, North Hills, and Granada Hills.
The brokerage is owned by California real estate veteran Armen Alagoz. Armen has been immersed in real estate for more than two decades, beginning his career as a real estate investor.
In 2001, he obtained his sales license and began serving clients through Coldwell Banker in Montebello. In 2003, he transitioned to a boutique brokerage, and the following year Armen obtained his broker’s license.
Armen’s success only continued to grow as he formed his own team and built a reputation for respect and unparalleled customer service.
“My team and I approach every client like they are family,” Armen said. “I always let them know the unvarnished truth and never take a one-size-fits-all approach. We truly care about doing what’s best for each individual client.”
In 2010, Armen opened his own independent brokerage and began selling under his own banner. He remained the broker/owner of Only One Realty for more than 10 years.
As 2021 dawned, Armen began thinking about how he could use his vast industry experience to lift others to personal success.
“I love to help agents grow,” Armen said. “I get a lot of satisfaction at this point in my career helping someone improve their lives and their families lives as they build their real estate business.”
However, Armen knew in order to offer agents everything they would need for growth, he needed the right tools, technology, and back-office support.
One day, while out driving, Armen saw an orange listing sign with a little dog on it.
“I was so struck by that advertising,” Armen said. “I did my homework and discovered that this creative sign was part of a bigger company and a whole marketing vision.”
Armen eventually connected with NextHome’s CEO and the rest was history.
“It was incredible to me that the leadership of the company would take the time to tell me more about NextHome’s vision and what the franchise is all about,” Armen said. “NextHome’s vision, technology, and what they have to offer is going to resonate with future sellers and with agents. I don’t think the old way of doing business is necessarily going to be the driving force 5-10 years from today. When I look at NextHome and their vision and direction, they are positioned to be on top as the industry evolves.”
Today, NextHome Southland is leveraging the NextHome’s tools and technology to train professional career-driven agents who have the best interests of their clients at heart.
“At NextHome Southland, we are all about building community and helping our clients,” Armen said. “We are sharply focused on doing what’s right for the client and helping them make the decision that’s best for their family and situation.”
Outside the office, Armen is a dedicated volunteer in his community. He is a member of the LAPD Volunteer Community Patrol. The group takes the load off of the LA Police Department by handling certain patrols so that officers can use their resources where they are most needed. In addition, the Patrol hosts food drives and toy drives for the community. Armen has also been a dedicated supporter of the March of Dimes.
