Pleasanton, CA — February 18, 2022 — NextHome is proud to announce the opening of NextHome Gold Key Realty in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. The brokerage represents the 553rd office to join the NextHome franchise out of 568 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Gold Key Realty will serve clients throughout the Piedmont Triad, including Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, Summerfield, and Oak Ridge. The area which is rich in culture, history, manufacturing, and education is home to more than 1.6 million people.
Stacy Guske will lead NextHome Gold Key Realty as broker/owner as she continues to serve all types of residential clients.
Stacy obtained her real estate license in 2015 after a long career in anti-money laundering with Well Fargo’s Charlotte, North Carolina corporate offices.
“I wanted to find something that was more family-focused and that would empower me to raise my son closer to our support system in Greensboro,” Stacy said.
She quickly discovered a talent for real estate. Although only part-time her first year, Stacy achieved more than $2.5 million in sales as an associate at a nationally franchised brand.
Early in her career, Stacy closed a deal with NextHome broker/agent, Rich Manzi of NextHome Triad Realty. The experience introduced Stacy to the NextHome difference, and although she was tempted to join NextHome as an agent at that point, Stacy had dreams of her own.
“It has always been my dream to open my own business and be my own boss,” Stacy said. “I wanted to open an office where agents could feel like family, and I knew NextHome was the right partner as I worked toward that dream.”
As her son grew, so did Stacy’s list of happy clients. 2022 became the right time for Stacy to achieve brokerage ownership.
“I loved that from the very first call, NextHome made me feel like family,” Stacy said. “I knew from the beginning that I would have the support I needed for NextHome Gold Key Realty to thrive.”
Today, NextHome Gold Key Realty offers its agents access to industry-leading technology and a family-like work culture.
“I want to bring on agents and provide them with the support and technology that they need to succeed,” Stacy said.
As NextHome Gold Key Realty grows, Stacy aims to make the brokerage an integral part of the community.
“I am really excited to start doing community events, helping our schools and animal rescue organizations,” Stacy said.
Stacy is a supporter of Greensboro-based Break the Chain Foundation, a small group of volunteers dedicated to making a difference in the lives of chained dogs. The group works to offer no-cost, chain link kennels (with tarps), to under-served parts of our community for the purpose of freeing High Point and Greensboro area dogs from permanent tethering.
Stacy is engaged to Toby, her partner of 10 years, and she is the mother of two children: stepson Bryson (18), and a six-year-old son Blake. When she isn’t working, Stacy can be found cheering for her children at their many sporting events. Continuing their love of sports, the family also enjoys attending Carolina Panthers games, watching the Hurricanes hockey team, and traveling to see the Atlanta Braves play.
