Pleasanton, CA — April 15, 2022 — NextHome is pleased to announce the expansion of NextHome Central Real Estate in Shawnee, Oklahoma. This second brokerage builds on the success of NextHome Central Real Estate’s flagship office in Oklahoma City, which opened in early 2018.
The brokerage represents the 511th office to join the NextHome franchise out of 576 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Central Real Estate (Shawnee) is well-positioned to conveniently serve clients in Shawnee, Newcastle, Norman, Goldsby, and the remainder of Cleveland County. The brokerage will provide real estate services in single-family residential sales, first-time home buying, investment, luxury, multi-family properties, and new home sales.
NextHome Central Real Estate is owned and operated by business partners Robert Gideon II and Jason Phillips.
“We are excited to provide convenient service across Oklahoma City and its suburbs,” Jason said. “With this new office, we are one step closer to our goal of providing every NextHome Central Real Estate agent and client a home-base that is convenient to their needs.”
Jason and Robert have been friends since the second grade, so their business partnership has been an easy transition. After high school, Jason received his MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma, while Robert attended the University of Oklahoma with a focus on Administrative Leadership.
After college, both men worked in commercial real estate building with local companies BNC Construction and Stooc Builders. In 2011, the partners started their own construction management company, The Phido Group.
Robert was responsible for the daily operations of all projects. This included acquiring resources and coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure successful completion that is within budget and time constraints.
Jason handled all aspects of the financial management for The Phido Group. He was deeply involved with each project from conception to completion, working closely with owners and his team members in determining project feasibility, scheduling, and quality control. Jason also provided insight into current and future projects based on his in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry.
In mid-2017, Robert and Jason looked to build their real estate sales portfolio and found NextHome to be a perfect partnership in furthering the technology and services their brokerage could offer clients.
“Since opening NextHome Central Real Estate at the beginning of 2018, we have been the busiest we have ever been,” Jason said. “The NextHome tools we can now offer our clients are unlike anything our community has ever seen.”
Today, the brokerage boasts more than 20 professional agents. In the first half of 2021, the company already had $11 million under contract. These sales numbers are remarkable in an area where average home prices hover around $230,000.
“We have to credit Charis Moreno (NextHome’s Vice President of Sales) for showing us what the franchise had to offer,” Robert added. “When we went to California to meet the corporate team and complete training, everything Charis told us about the company was true – and then some. We are so happy to be a part of this incredible company. NextHome’s ideals matched exactly what we were looking for at our brokerage.”
When not selling real estate, Robert and Jason are all about family.
Jason has been married for eight years to his wife Natalie. She’s the co-owner/hair stylist at Cut Loose Hair Design. The couple love food and trying new restaurants.
Robert married his college sweetheart, Emily, and they are the proud parents of four-year-old Eleanor. Emily has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a member of the leadership team at Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center. They enjoy the outdoors and look for any excuse to be outside.
