Pleasanton, CA — April 1, 2022 — NextHome is pleased to announce the newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Nexus, based in Stockton, California. The brokerage represents the 550th office to join the NextHome franchise out of 572 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Nexus is poised to professionally serve both buyers and sellers throughout Stockton, Manteca, Tracey, Sacramento, Merced, Modesto, Lodi, Brentwood, Antioch, Vallejo, Half Moon Bay, Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and the remainder of the Central Valley.
Stockton is one of the largest cities in California, located just 45 minutes south of Sacramento with a population approaching 315,000.
The brokerage is owned by Steven Jackson, a local small business owner and entrepreneur with a passion for finding client-centered solutions.
Steven obtained his license in 2009 and has been a full-time agent for the past seven years.
Prior to real estate, Steven worked for HP in corporate operations.
“As an entrepreneur at heart, you get restless in a corporate setting,” Steven said. “I’ve spent my life as an ambitious person who always wants to push myself to the next level.”
In addition to real estate, Steven’s entrepreneurial spirit has helped him build a portfolio of rental properties, breed Cane Corso dogs, and build a luxury rental car business.
However, Steven knew he wanted to build a thriving business around his real estate skills.
“Finding a robust brand was big to me,” Steven said. “I am big on marketing and NextHome has characteristics that catch people’s attention and start conversations. I am a big dog person and loved that Luke the french bulldog was a big part of the marketing. I wanted a franchise that aligned with my values as a business owner and NextHome fit the bill.”
Today, Steven is providing clients with exceptional buying and selling experiences, with agents who are driven by their sense of integrity and service.
“I want to build a brand that highlights our integrity and dedication to the client,” Steven said. “I am especially passionate about helping build homeownership and helping those who already own homes to add to their portfolio. I want my agents to take pride in being the best at what we do and in being extremely thorough.”
Steven is a dedicated member of his community, who has a heart for service. For several generations, his family has operated the Ecumenical Hunger Program or E.H.P, a nonprofit based in Palo Alto that helps provide food for working families, seniors, people with limited incomes, and those who have both emergency and on-going needs.
Steven is the father of two children: Nevaeh (17) and Cairo (8). In his spare time, Steven is passionate about service work, including helping teach youth about credit and taxes.
“At NextHome Nexus, we believe in integrity and putting people first,” Steven said.
Please join us in congratulating Steven on the opening of NextHome Nexus in Stockton, California!
