Pleasanton, CA — July 13, 2022 — NextHome is proud to announce the expansion of NextHome Inspire in Montrose, Michigan. The brokerage builds on the success of NextHome Inspire’s flagship office location in Flint, Michigan, which opened in February. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has 591 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Inspire’s broker/owner, Adam Abt, says he hopes to offer regional client’s convenient access to top-tier real estate services through various satellite offices spread throughout the area. Located just over an hour north of Detroit, NextHome Inspire is poised to provide professional service to Genesee, Oakland, Shiawassee, Saginaw, Lapeer, and Tuscola counties.
“I am looking forward to serving Montrose clients through NextHome’s Humans Over Houses approach to real estate,” Adam said.
Adam first delved into real estate as an investor before obtaining his sales license in 1992. For the next nine years, Adam worked with a nationally franchised brokerage serving his clients with professionalism and friendliness.
In 2001, Adam obtained his broker’s license and opened his own local independent office alongside two other partners. Under Adam’s leadership, the office eventually grew to four offices throughout the Flint area with about 80 agents.
As the years went by, and the role of technology in real estate expanded, Adam began to realize his business needed to evolve. Adam became acutely aware of what NextHome had to offer when his highest producing agent left his brokerage to join NextHome Keely Realty in Grand Blanc.
“Eventually, I called the owner George Keely, and he gave me all the details about NextHome,” Adam said.
The pair had known each other for years and had developed a mutual respect. When George was ready to step out of ownership and back into full-time sales, Adam purchased the franchise.
Today, with Adam in the ownership role, NextHome Inspire still benefits from George’s expertise as a dedicated sales agent.
“I bounce stuff off him all the time,” Adam said. “He is a great guy, and someone in this industry who knows how to do things right.”
With talented agents and leadership, NextHome Inspire continues to evolve and expand, serving increasing numbers of satisfied clients throughout Mid-Michigan.
Throughout the years, Adam has been active in serving his local MLS through various roles including Director of the Board, Treasurer, grievance committee member, and special projects committee member.
Outside the office, Adam is an active member of his Masonic Lodge and serves his community through Shiners International on its fundraising and transportation committee.
“When children need a ride to a Shriners Hospital, we organize that all free of charge,” Adam said.
Adam is also an accomplished stained-glass artist, with many pieces in national competitions and shows.
Adam is looking forward to marrying his fiancé in June. Together, they are the proud parents of a blended family.
