Pleasanton, CA — September 16, 2022 — NextHome is proud to announce the expansion of NextHome 365 Realty with a second office in Colbert, Washington. This brokerage expands on the success of NextHome 365 Realty’s flagship location in Athol, Idaho just 40 minutes away. With this new addition, NextHome 365 Realty has expanded into a regional resource for clients on both sides of the Washington/Idaho border.
The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has 601 active office locations across the country.
Conveniently located in the Spokane metro area, NextHome 365 Realty (Colbert) serves clients throughout Liberty Lake, Spokane, Spokane Valley, Newport, and the remainder of the Eastern Washington area.
NextHome 365 Realty is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Shawn and Carrie Sutton.
Carrie has more than 16 years of high-producing sales experience. Shawn obtained his Idaho sales license in 2007, his Washington sales license in 2019, and his broker’s license in 2021. He is also the Broker of a NextHome office in Southern Idaho.
Together, Carrie and Shawn offer unique expertise and people-first service to their clients.
“Throughout my career, the thing I’m most proud of is the relationships we have built,” Carrie said. “To me, it’s not about a transaction, but about the humans we are able to help and the lives we impact for the better. We are thrilled to now be growing within the community of the Inland Northwest. Carrie and Shawn have been affiliated with NextHome franchises since 2017. In 2021, they opened NextHome 365 in Athol, Idaho. The brokerage quickly attracted exceptional real estate associate talent and became one of the region’s highest producers. Although Carrie remains laser-focused on the human side of the business, the Suttons sales numbers are also remarkable. In 2020, they achieved $17 million in sales volume with 46 transactions. In 2021, they exceeded that number by more than 20 additional transactions. Throughout the NextHome brand, NextHome 365 Realty was No. 15 in sales in 2021.
Their success is built on NextHome’s foundation of putting humans over houses.
“As we have grown our Athol brokerage, the community has been amazing and really wrapped its arms around us,” Shawn said. “Everyone has been so supportive and it has been an honor to help so many families.”
However, as the region continues to experience explosive growth, Carrie and Shawn wanted to better serve the diverse needs of homebuyers in both Northern Idaho and Western Washington.
“We have had many clients who were not able to find a perfect home in their price point in Northern Idaho, but who were able to find what they needed just a short commute away in Washington,” Shawn explained. “Rather than referring them away, we are excited to now offer our exceptional level of service across many price points that fit our client’s diverse needs.”
Many of NextHome 365 Realty’s associates are already dual licensed in both Washington and Idaho and are thrilled to share their expertise with an expanded list of clients.
“There was no doubt in my mind that NextHome was the franchise we wanted to continue to partner with,” Carrie said. “I’ve been with a lot of different companies and by far NextHome’s communication, its support, and its back-office systems make every day and every transaction go so smoothly.”
As they expand NextHome 365 Realty into Eastern Washington, the Suttons hope to position themselves as the company that cares.
“I want to be a household name, not because we sell real estate, but because we care and we are passionate and have the drive to support people,” Carrie said. “As we grow, we are looking for agents who will embrace that caring mentality. It is always humans over houses for us.”
The brokerage is a family affair, which includes Carrie and Shawn’s children. Courtney Lampert is a professional REALTOR® who carries on her mother’s legacy of hard work and dedication to client service, Turner Sutton is a professional real estate photographer in the Inland Northwest, and April Sutton manages a local credit union.
Through all their professional endeavors, the Sutton family remains committed to serving their community. The couple are always helping with various needs on a personal basis. When an unexpected windstorm toppled hundreds of trees in January 2021, the Suttons helped coordinate cleanup efforts. When local businesses open, the Suttons use their thriving social media platforms to give them a boost. And when storms trap locals in snowbound homes, the Suttons find ways to help plow them out. In addition to those personal acts of community service, Carrie also served on the Coeur d’ Alene MLS Board of Directors.
