Pleasanton, CA — September 30, 2022 — NextHome is proud to announce Michaela Jenkins, Andrew Hogan, Greg Hogan, and Jason Gelfuso as the owners of NextHome Ocean State Realty Group. Michaela will be NextHome Ocean State Realty Group’s Broker in Charge. Jason and Andrew are the brokerage leads for recruitment and team building. Greg will serve as Chief Operations Officer.

Michaela started her real estate career at NextHome Ocean State Realty Group. Previously, she worked in healthcare, where she nurtured her talent for serving others. Michaela joined NextHome Ocean State Realty Group as administrative staff in 2019, obtaining her real estate sales license just three months later. She became a licensed broker in 2022.
“Of the four of us, Michaela is the glue that holds us all together,” Greg said. “We each have our skill sets that benefit clients in different ways, but there’s nothing that Michaela is not good at. She can handle the business side, the people side, the real estate side, and more. With the four of us working together, we are looking forward to an exceptional workplace culture, a cohesive leadership team, and continuing to offer the highest level of representation to our clients.”
Greg began his real estate career in 2021 after a long career in operations management. Drawn to the flexibility of real estate, Greg was able to build a thriving career that also allowed him time to care for his family.
Andrew started working in property management in 2019 and became licensed in real estate sales in 2020. After joining Ocean State Realty Group, Andrew quickly discovered a talent for sales. In Andrew’s first year, he closed 20 transactions. Earlier this year, he formed a team alongside Michaela and Greg. The Hope Group centers clients in everything they do, and that focus has led to remarkable success.
Jason started his real estate career in 2015 with a local independent brokerage. His client-centered service elevated him locally to the top tiers of his profession. In an office of 90 agents, Jason was frequently one of the top three for sales volume. In 2020, he was the highest selling associate at his firm. After connecting with the previous owner, Jason recognized a great opportunity and joined NextHome Ocean State Realty Group in 2022.
‘The leadership at NextHome is second to none,” Jason said. “We have all had the opportunity to attend NextHome’s conferences, and we saw first-hand that this company is the real deal. You actually felt like a person, not a number. When you are with all the owners you feel comfortable. There is a culture of putting people first that permeates every brokerage.”
