Pleasanton, CA — April 11, 2023 — In anonymous, third-party surveys, NextHome broker/owners have declared that the franchise offers impressive opportunities for women in addition to unparalleled value and staying power.
Following recent surveys by Franchise Business Review (FBR), the NextHome Franchise excelled in three categories: Top Franchise for Women, Top Low-Cost Franchise, and Top Recession-Proof Franchise.
“These recognitions are a testament to what NextHome is doing right,” said James Dwiggins, Chief Executive Officer of NextHome. “At our core, we are focused on our people and their success. Because of this focus, our NextHome members are excited to talk honestly about their franchise ownership experience. By providing the best marketing and technology tools, training opportunities, and world-class customer service, NextHome real estate professionals can spend more time doing what they do best—helping people find their next home.”
NextHome, Inc. is an independently owned national franchise with a focus on changing the way consumers work with local agents and shop for real estate online. The NextHome franchise, founded in 2014, has 610 offices and 5,500+ members across 48 states. The company closed over 33,000 transactions in 2022 worth over $11.4B in volume.
Franchise Business Review provides the only rankings of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. FBR publishes its rankings of top franchises in its annual Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as in quarterly reports throughout the year that rank the top franchises in specific sectors.
The recognition as a Top Franchise for Women highlights NextHome’s commitment to empowering its broker/owners.
“There are thousands of different franchise opportunities available, so before making the decision to invest in a particular franchise, it’s important to research feedback from current female franchise owners on how well the franchise meets their expectations in terms of support, work/life balance, financial opportunity, culture, and other key areas of business ownership,” said Michelle Rowan, president and COO of Franchise Business Review.
NextHome was among 322 franchise brands surveyed, representing over 8,100 female franchise owners. NextHome’s franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including leadership, training/support, financial opportunity, and work/life balance.
NextHome was one of only 50 franchises to qualify as one of FBR’s 2023 Top Franchises for Women.
Of more than 610 NextHome franchises nationwide, 55 percent are owned by women.
Franchise Business Review also recognized NextHome for offering exceptional value, naming it a 2023 Top Low-Cost Franchise. This recognition is the result of surveys that spanned nearly 12,000 franchisees representing over 135 low-cost brands. Any companies surveyed by FBR had to have exceptional franchisee satisfaction ratings and require an investment below $100,000.
Being named a Top Low-Cost Franchise and Top Recession-Proof Franchise is a testament to NextHome’s flexible franchise model and corporate support.
It’s important to note that in no way does “low cost” imply “limited” as NextHome is a full-service franchise.
Owners can pick what works best for their business, whether it’s a large office with lots of agents or a virtual office of one.
NextHome’s single sign-on marketing and technology platform allows owners to do what they do best, run a successful real estate business, rather than tracking down and recreating all the systems themselves. NextHome’s corporate team is always available to help along the way with a real person behind the call or email.
In addition to a franchise that offers exceptional value on investment, NextHome broker/owners also gain access to a franchise that is highly recession-resistant. NextHome is among only 100 brands nationwide to achieve this recognition.
“While no business is 100% recession-proof, these franchise businesses have demonstrated that they are highly recession-resistant based on historical performance,” said Eric Stites, CEO of Franchise Business Review. “For people seeking to be their own boss, the Top 100 Recession-Proof businesses we identified this year not only have outstanding satisfaction among their owners—one of the most important factors to consider before investing in any franchise opportunity—but they have performed well in good times and bad and we feel they hold a strong advantage to outperform their competitors in the years ahead.”
In addition to these accolades, NextHome was named No. 1 on Franchise Business Review’s list of the Top Franchises for 2023, the company’s third consecutive year at the top.
