NextHome Music City Realty is owned by Tad Ritchison and Todd Grubaugh. Ritchison will be the Broker of Record at the Murfreesboro office while Grubaugh will be the Nashville office’s Broker of Record. As deeply knowledgeable real estate professionals, both owners will continue to provide exceptional agent support across all offices as the company grows.

Ritchison’s vast experience includes roles as Coachman Motorhome’s Vice President, the Vice President of Champion Homes, and a long career in large-scale residential development.
Ritchison began his real estate career in 1990 with Coldwell Banker, working in single-family home new construction. Throughout the following years, he led several development projects throughout the United States, some as large as 6,500 homes and 100 multi-level projects.
Ritchison also put his talents to use in Detroit, partnering with Jesse Jackson Jr. to build 1,400 homes with a focus on helping those in the inner city. That drive to give back also propelled Ritchison to work with the Bush administration on a project to rebuild homes after hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005. Ritchison’s expertise in custom homes also led him to an opportunity to partner with world-renowned architect Michelle Kaufmann on a Chicago-based project.
In the early 2000s, Ritchison fell in love with the Nashville area and began putting down roots. He and Grubaugh met in 2016 while working on the same team at a Nashville-area real estate franchise. The duo eventually joined a NextHome brokerage.
When an opportunity came to open a brokerage in a great area of downtown Murfreesboro, Ritchison and Grubaugh jumped at the chance to lead their own NextHome franchise.
