NextHome Integrity is owned by Karalyn Hoefer, a Nebraska native and real estate sales professional with 23 years of industry expertise. She is excited to be partnering with NextHome Signature Real Estate in Omaha, Nebraska – led by Teresa Elliott, Travis Taylor, and Tony Taylor.
Karalyn obtained her real estate sales license in 2000 and began selling with a powerhouse regional brokerage. Here, education and empowerment became the foundation of her career.
For the next 16 years, Karalyn developed a reputation for unparalleled negotiation skills and a family-centered approach to real estate. She worked hard to educate herself and holds certifications in luxury, residential, and short sales. In addition, Karalyn holds the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist designation.
While her sales numbers and accolades are remarkable, Karalyn’s greatest professional accomplishments are the lives she has helped change for the better. Recently, Karalyn was able to help three generations of the same family each achieve homeownership in the span of 15 months.
“I like to focus on families served and memories made rather than sales awards or numbers,” Karalyn said. “The fact that I was able to earn three generations of trust from the same family is an honor I will never take for granted. It’s the people who matter in real estate.”
In 2016, Karalyn joined a nationally franchised firm and in 2019 she built a successful team. The Integrity Group Lincoln grew to eight members including an administrator and an intern.
As Karalyn’s reputation for excellence also grew, she began to consider the next steps for her career. While researching best practices across different franchises, she discovered NextHome.
“I wondered if this franchise had taken a secret look at my business plan,” Karalyn said. “The feeling of community and empowerment was tangible with NextHome. Although it had all the technology and resources of a big brand, NextHome felt welcoming, humble, and approachable. There was room at the table for everyone and its approach to real estate was fresh and innovative.”
“I am excited to bring this fresh, vibrant, integrity-driven brand to Lincoln,” Karalyn added.

Karalyn has served in various community and professional organizations throughout the years. She has been an active supporter of the American Heart Association, and recently helped coordinate Wings & Wheels, a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.
Karalyn also sits on various planning and government affairs committees through her local real estate association. She served as President of the REALTORS® Association of Lincoln in 2019.
Karalyn has been married to her husband, Brian, for 33 years and they are the proud parents of two grown daughters.
When she isn’t working, Karalyn would prefer to be on the beach in Belize, reading a good book, or gardening.
