NextHome Solutions Realty is owned by Rita Taubeh and Oliver Thorpe. This duo of knowable real estate professionals aims to open a brokerage where the client can experience the joy of real estate.
“Every client I work with, I consider them as if they were my own family,” Rita said. “We are a brokerage that truly cares. Oliver and I are in this business because we enjoy every piece of it.”
Rita obtained her real estate license in 2003. Prior to real estate, Rita worked in marketing and interior design. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and digital design and a master’s degree in entertainment business.
Real estate combined Rita’s marketing talents with a deep-rooted love for building and architecture.
“My older brother is a contractor in Chicago and my favorite thing to do was go to work with him,” Rita said.
Throughout her real estate career, Rita has developed a reputation as a problem-solver who will always go the extra mile for her clients.
“Through my experience and expertise, I can help my clients with every aspect of their sale or purchase,” Rita said. “When looking for the perfect home, I can offer suggestions for remodeling or furnishing. For sellers, I can help stage the home in a cost-effective way that makes it more marketable. I love to problem solve and get my clients’ purchases across the finish line. When I see that buyers or sellers face at closing and they are so happy, it really pulls on my heartstrings.”
Throughout her time working with various nationally franchised brokerages, Rita’s sales numbers have been remarkable and she has been recognized as agent of the year.
Oliver embarked on his own real estate journey in 2021 following a 21-year career as an Army Veterinary Technician, working with police dogs.
“I’ve always liked real estate, ever since I was a little kid,” Oliver said. “My dad’s educational background was in architecture, and I loved looking at houses with him. I also love the problem-solving side of real estate when I can help guide people toward what they really want and need.”
Almost immediately after obtaining his sales license, Oliver achieved remarkable sales numbers and quickly pursued his broker’s license.
Oliver and Rita met while working with the same nationally-franchised brokerage. They soon realized that they both shared a determination to elevate real estate service in the Orlando area.
“I wanted to create a brokerage that I would be excited to work at,” Rita said. “High-quality associates are hungry for a brokerage where they feel truly supported. Where they aren’t competing with their broker for business and where you enjoy great communication and office culture.”
As Rita and Oliver searched for the right franchise to help them achieve this dream, they stumbled across NextHome.

From there, both Oliver and Rita reached out to other NextHome franchise owners in Florida.
