NextHome Southern Skies Realty is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Asad Shaikh and Humaira Majeed. Asad will be NextHome Southern Skies Realty’s broker of record, while Humaira will focus her talents on administrative, financial, and back-office management. Since Humaira is a licensed mortgage loan officer, clients will also have access to expert loan guidance.

After obtaining a degree in marketing from Texas A&M University, Asad launched several franchised small businesses.
“Sales and marketing excite me, and as a real estate professional I get to blend those two passions,” Asad said.
Throughout the years, Asad has honed his skills by partnering with various industry leaders in the Austin market. In addition, Asad enjoys absorbing as much coaching as he can.
“I am hungry for learning,” Asad said. “Providing the best representation for my clients requires that I continue to stretch myself and constantly learn and grow.”
In his quest to always be better, Asad had one goal in mind: he wanted to own his own real estate brokerage.
