Cindy started her real estate career in 2002 after working in the pharmaceutical industry as a manager doing clinical trials.
The shift to real estate allowed Cindy to spend less time traveling and more time with her young family. She quickly developed a deep love for helping people find their perfect property.
“I enjoy helping people find what they want in a home, an estate, or a piece of land,” Cindy said. “I am a people person, and changing lives through something as impactful as real estate is really rewarding.”
As the holder of NAR’s Military Relocation Specialist designation, Cindy has a remarkable passion for helping veterans and military service members.
After three years working with a boutique brokerage, Cindy had the opportunity to start her own real estate company. In 2006, Cindy launched Premier Virginia Properties and quickly developed a reputation for integrity and honest service.
Throughout more than two decades in real estate, Cindy has consistently been recognized among the top agents in various MLS areas. Cindy’s ability to listen with compassion and understanding to each client built a thriving referral-based business.
“I listen to every client and make sure they get what they want,” Cindy said. “I am always honest and never push a client into something that isn’t the right fit for them.”
With her vast local experience, Cindy became a trusted resource – connecting her clients with the best lenders, title companies, and inspectors.
Although Cindy experienced soul-filling success as an independent brokerage owner, she also wanted to provide her agents with the best back-office support possible.
That’s when Cindy’s former broker and mentor, Suzanne Brady (owner of NextHome Blue Heron Realty Group), mentioned NextHome.
“I was telling Suzanne how hard it is to keep up with all the training and changes in technology, and she said, ‘Oh, NextHome might be exactly what you’re looking for’,” Cindy recalled. “Putting together all those systems and tools is costly and it’s time consuming. Cindy holds a Masters in Biology from Montclair State University. She also launched Virginia’s chapter of the Chopin Foundation – a non-profit that assists young, talented American pianists in developing their careers as international concert artists and makes classical music, and above all the music of Frederic Chopin, accessible to everyone.
As someone with deep connections to her community, Cindy is also a past president of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, and a supporter of the Boys & Girls Club and local playhouses.
Cindy and her husband Robert have been married for 32 years and together they enjoy riding horses, cooking, gardening, and going on cruises.
