The expansion builds on the remarkable success of NextHome Paramount’s flagship office in Charlotte and is the organic outgrowth of increased demand for high-quality real estate services.
The brokerage is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Jayme and Bobby Downey.
Area experts at NextHome Paramount with decades of real estate knowledge are poised to serve residential clients throughout Weddington, Waxhaw, Monroe, Mint Hill, and across the Greater Charlotte area. Through partnerships with some of the area’s best and brightest agents, NextHome Paramount (Matthews) offers expertise in luxury homes, investment portfolios, first-time home buying, right- sizing, new construction, and relocation.
The Matthews office joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has over 600 active office locations across the country.
Bobby, born and raised in the Charlotte area, added, “Matthews has grown exponentially but has still maintained so much of its charm and character in the downtown area. Bobby spent over a decade in the mortgage industry before teaming up with Jayme in real estate sales. Together, they quickly became the top-producing husband-and-wife team at the world’s leading Keller Williams office, a distinction they held for many years.
The Downeys took the next step in their career by opening their own independent brokerage, driven by a desire to change the antiquated way brokerages are run. The Downeys are proud parents of 15- and 12-year-old boys and are involved in all kinds of activities with their children, including football, rugby, and basketball.
