NextHome D&G Realty Group is owned by Araceli Gomez and Genaro Duran, a powerhouse team of local professionals who share a passion for helping others find their perfect home.

Araceli’s passion for real estate stems from watching her own parents become first-time homebuyers.
“I came to the United States as a child from Mexico, and I’ve seen this area evolve for more than 30 years,” Araceli said. “I have memories of my parents coming to this country and buying their first home. Owning a home was a huge accomplishment for them. Like so many other people, they had a dream to own a little piece of their own land. Watching them achieve that dream really resonated with me. As I started my own career, making dreams come true was something I wanted to be able to do for other people.”
Araceli obtained her real estate sales license in 2004 focusing on new home sales. For the next six years, she developed a reputation for integrity-driven real estate service.
As her career continued to expand, Araceli branched out into diverse types of residential real estate including resale, REO, and investment.
“Araceli is exceptional at customer service,” Genaro said. “She’s a down-to-earth person who is trustworthy. Whatever the situation, she is always honest with her clients.”
After immigrating to the United States in 2000, Genaro also developed a passion for helping people discover the American Dream of homeownership.
Genaro began professionally selling real estate in 2004 throughout the Central Valley. However, he has been immersed in real estate since he was in high school.
“I had the opportunity for an internship in high school at a real estate office,” Genaro said. “Then, I got offered a job as a real estate assistant. Immediately after graduating high school, I got my license and the rest is history.”
Genaro worked with a local brokerage for the next 15 years, developing his own reputation for going the extra mile with kindness and compassion for every client.
“We share a very similar work ethic,” Araceli said. “Genaro is also very honest, family-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. He will always share his honest opinion, based on years of expertise. To Genaro, the person is always more important than the sale, and it shows in every transaction.”
In 2018, Araceli and Genaro began working at the same local brokerage. Although they had known each other since high school, their professional collaboration elevated the real estate experience for all of their clients.
“We work really well together,” Araceli said. “We share the same work ethic and commitment to our clients.”
Genaro and Araceli share a drive to elevate real estate excellence in their market.
“We see a lot of new agents coming in who don’t get the support or training they need,” Araceli said. “When people are trained on TikTok or YouTube, the service level suffers. We want to partner with quality, like-minded agents who are eager to learn, grow, and succeed.”
Araceli and Genaro wanted to find a franchise that valued people, where agents were equipped to succeed, and where quality was more important than agent count.
That’s when they discovered NextHome through an internet search.
“What really resonated with us was NextHome’s unique approach to recruiting,” Araceli said. “This company was focused on quality versus quantity, and putting people first in real estate. It’s important to remember that we work for our clients and not for our paychecks, so when I hear that NextHome’s tagline is Humans Over Houses, that really aligns with the way I want to do business.”

Araceli is the proud single mother of a 19-year-old son, who is currently attending college and studying media editing. In her spare time, Araceli enjoys being outdoors, traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with family.
Genaro is the proud father of two boys, ages 7 and 4. The family stays busy with the kids’ activities and enjoys traveling together.
