Pleasanton, CA — November 1, 2024 — NextHome is proud to announce that longtime franchise professional Katie Lichtie will be stepping into ownership at NextHome Metro in McFarland, Wisconsin.

The brokerage’s founding owner, Randy Lenz, is continuing with the brokerage. Randy will be focusing his three decades of talent on providing exceptional service to Madison County buyers and sellers.

“Taking ownership was a natural next step for Katie,” Randy said. “We are excited for the future of NextHome Metro.”

“As we shift ownership, clients can expect the same relentless drive to put our clients first and an unparalleled attention to detail,” Katie said. “At NextHome Metro, you can always expect personalized service.”

NextHome Metro will continue to serve clients throughout Madison and Dane counties, providing the same level of residential sales expertise that clients have enjoyed for the past eight years. However, with Katie in ownership, clients can expect an added level of expertise in commercial real estate service.

“We are adding that Humans Over Houses approach to commercial real estate,” Katie said. “Business owners deserve someone who will go the extra mile, presenting properties at their best, and connecting the right property with the right business. I am so excited to elevate commercial real estate in our area with a more professional approach.”

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Katie has always had a love for both small business development and real estate.

In 2016, Katie became a licensed real estate associate and quickly joined NextHome Metro.

“There’s no place I’d rather be than with NextHome,” Katie said. “Their people-centered approach to real estate perfectly aligns with the way I like to do business.”

Katie’s ability to bring joy into every transaction led to multiple awards and recognitions through NextHome. These awards highlight both her production volume and her unparalleled customer service.

“No one should be treated like a number when you are buying or selling a home or business property,” Katie said. “At NextHome Metro, you can expect personalized service through our Humans Over Houses approach.”

Throughout her career, Katie developed a love for education and coaching her clients through the complexities of their real estate transactions.

As she looks to the future, Katie knows that NextHome Metro has some of the best support in the industry.

“NextHome is all about staying ahead, both with technology and industry standards, especially with the recent NAR settlement,” Katie said. “NextHome’s CEO is ahead of the game compared to other brokerages, ensuring we’re well-informed about all the dos and don’ts. This franchise has a great leadership team that’s truly focused on lifting others up.”

Katie’s love for her community is evident in her activities outside of the office. She can often be found coaching youth sports. NextHome Metro will continue to be a strong supporter of the Dane County Humane Society.

Please join us in congratulating Katie on her new role as brokerage owner at NextHome Metro in McFarland, Wisconsin!
