Pleasanton, CA — December 6, 2024 — NextHome is proud to announce the expansion of NextHome QC Realty with a second office in Bettendorf, Iowa. The expansion builds on the success of NextHome QC Realty’s first office in Rapids City, Illinois which opened in 2022.
NextHome QC Realty’s Bettendorf office joins the growing NextHome franchise which currently has over 600 active office locations across the country.
NextHome QC Realty (Bettendorf) serves clients throughout southeastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois, including the Quad Cities and surrounding areas.
NextHome QC Realty is owned by Debra Holdampf with the support of her business partner Rae Carson, her multifaceted administrator Melody Regenwether, and all the NextHome QC Realty client-centric Realtors®, allowing the branch office in the Iowa Quad Cities to open.
Under Debra’s leadership, NextHome QC Realty continues to attract knowledgeable agents who are local real estate experts. The Bettendorf expansion was a natural next step for the growing brokerage.
“Some of our agents lived in Iowa, so much of their business was on that side of the Mississippi river,” Debra said. “That’s really where the conversation began about whether we’d consider setting up a location in Iowa. We wanted to make it easier for these agents to offer greater convenience for their clients and since we’re all dual-licensed in both states, it’s been incredibly helpful. Now, no matter where our clients are, everyone has access to a convenient office to meet with clients.”
Before obtaining her real estate license in 2012, Debra ran a large family-owned manufacturing company.
“After traveling all over the world for 20+ years with my company, the pace started to take its toll,” Debra explained. “Family is important to me, so real estate allowed me to remain closer to home more often and that aligned better with my lifestyle goals.”
Debra started her real estate sales career with a local independent before moving to RE/MAX, where she and her partner started exploring the team concept.
Debra obtained her managing broker’s license, thinking that someday she might use it to manage others and one day something moved her to start looking for a franchise that would align with her values. Debra wanted to build a business focused on quality of service rather than quantity of agents.
“A lot of places I looked into wanted large agent rosters, and having run a large business with more than 90 employees, I knew that wasn’t something I wanted,” Debra said. “When I discovered NextHome, I was drawn to the company’s emphasis on quality over quantity. I knew I could grow at my own pace and build really strong offices.”
Today, NextHome QC Realty offers clients in the Quad Cities access to outstanding professionalism and agent talent, supported by a broker who is committed to both agent and client success.

Debra credits NextHome’s underlying culture of quality and agent support for her brokerage’s organic growth.
“With our solid foundation of support for our agents, they can in turn provide exceptional service to buyers and sellers,” Debra said. “I really enjoy helping people achieve the next chapter in life. Everybody’s story is just a little different. You get to meet a lot of people and make a lot of new friends, and I love that about my job.”
Debra and her husband Stan are the proud parents of seven children and eight grandchildren. In their spare time, Debra and Stan love to travel and spend time with family.
