The NextHome Disaster Relief Foundation (NHDRF) Board is defined by members who have a heart for helping others and a real sense of compassion. That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome Graham Stiles, owner of NextHome NTX Real Estate in Fort Worth, Texas, to the NHDRF Board of Directors. Graham’s passion for service, leadership experience, and strategic vision make him the perfect addition to the team.
With a real estate career spanning 26 years, Graham has always been deeply committed to giving back. His impressive track record includes serving on the Society of Commercial Realtors Board of Governors, the Delta Delta Delta National House Corporation Advisory Council, and being actively involved with Trinity Episcopal Church and the Texas A&M Association of Former Students Century Club. His dedication to mentorship, education, and service aligns perfectly with the mission of NHDRF.
“Graham isn’t just accomplished in his career—he’s also deeply passionate about giving back,” said Tei Baishiki, NHDRF Board Secretary. “His leadership, industry expertise, and strategic vision will be a huge asset to the NextHome Disaster Relief Foundation. We’re excited to work with him as we continue our mission to support NextHome members.”
With a 500% increase in applications from 2023 to 2024, Graham is excited to tackle the challenge of meeting rising demand.
The NextHome Disaster Relief Foundation provides rapid financial assistance to NextHome franchise members affected by natural or man-made disasters. Unlike traditional insurance claims that can take weeks or months, NHDRF provides funds within 24 to 48 hours, helping with urgent needs like temporary housing, clothing, and essential supplies.
“The foundation’s ability to act quickly is what sets it apart,” Graham explained. “I’ve seen firsthand how impactful it can be. For example, when Hurricane Helene hit, I got to see a NextHome member be able to replace school clothes for his daughters after a devastating flood. Just giving those girls the ability to continue their lives in dignity after their house was flooded was really impactful. These aren’t massive amounts of money, but they are crucial in those first few days when people are left with nothing.”
Beyond financial relief, Graham is eager to strengthen on-the-ground support efforts.
“We have an incredible network of dedicated NextHome members who want to help—not just financially, but physically—by delivering supplies, volunteering in cleanup efforts, and providing direct support to those impacted,” he said. “I look forward to working with the board to grow these initiatives.”
Graham’s personal experiences with natural disasters have fueled his dedication to the foundation. Last year, while attending a conference in Asheville, North Carolina, he found himself unexpectedly trapped during a hurricane.
“I was in a position where I didn’t necessarily need assistance, but I saw how difficult it was for those who did,” he recalled. “The way NextHome members rallied to support each other during that time reinforced how important this foundation is.”
Graham is following in the footsteps of outgoing board member Marnie Goldschlag, Co-Owner of NextHome Wine Country Premier, who has been instrumental in shaping the Foundation’s impact.
“It is truly an honor to follow in Marnie’s footsteps,” Graham said. “Marnie has poured her heart and soul into growing this Foundation, ensuring that NextHome members get the quick help they need in times of crisis. I am deeply honored to carry forward her legacy and accelerate the Foundation’s mission.”
As he steps into this new role, Graham joins a team of compassionate, driven board members who share a commitment to helping NextHome members in times of crisis.
“NextHome’s culture is built on the principle of ‘Humans Over Houses,’ and the Disaster Relief Foundation embodies that philosophy,” he said. “I’m excited to be part of something that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.”
Please join us in congratulating Graham on his new role—we can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make!
