NextHome Nations is co-owned by Michael Blasi and Darin Acccettulli. Michael is the Broker/Owner, and Darin is an Owner and Licensed Real Estate Agent. Together, this powerhouse duo offers more than three decades of real estate expertise and a commitment to unparalleled professionalism.

For more than 30 years, Michael has been at the forefront of client-centered real estate service in New York and New Jersey. After obtaining his license in New York in the early 1990s, Michael built a reputation for professionalism and integrity. Throughout his career, Michael has preferred to work with independent, boutique brokerages because of his commitment to personalized service.
“Real estate is a fascinating job because you help people find their dreams,” Michael said. “It’s so rewarding working with families, young couples, and people who are just starting out. What’s even better is when I get to help multiple generations find their perfect home. Just recently, I had the privilege of working with the granddaughter of the first person I sold a house to.”
In 1995, Michael opened his own New York based brokerage – Sherlock Homes Realty. Over time, the office grew to 40 agents and expanded into New Jersey as Sherlock Homes Garden State Realty.
Michael’s commitment to quality real estate representation caught Darin’s attention and the two began working together.
Darin has been a real estate sales professional for 10 years. Prior to real estate, Darin was a chief operating officer in the health club industry and was a recording artist.
“I think the most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you realize what you were born to do,” Darin said. “I’ve always enjoyed lifting people up. I’ve always enjoyed helping people. And real estate is all about helping people. It’s the perfect fit for me.”
After excelling with various franchised brokerages, Darin joined Michael’s office.
“Michael is the kind of guy who lives by ‘God, family, country’ so you know he’s always going to do the right thing, no matter what,” Darin said. “You don’t find many people who stick to their principles no matter the circumstances, but that’s Michael. And that’s exactly the kind of person I want to surround myself with. It’s also the kind of brokerage we’re building—rooted in integrity, committed to doing right by people.”
Franchising was never on Michael’s radar, until his cousin introduced him to NextHome.
“I’m not a franchise guy, but NextHome seems like the best of the best,” Michael said. “This company is different. I knew NextHome had something that other franchises didn’t.”
Darin was impressed by the company’s exceptional systems.
“After many years leading health clubs, I know what great systems look like, and NextHome has great systems,” Darin said.
Today, NextHome Nations is elevating real estate service throughout New Jersey.

Both Michael and Darin’s commitment to real estate, country, and community are evident in their volunteer service.
Michael brings extensive experience in real estate leadership, having served on various boards for more than two decades. He is a past president of the Staten Island Board of Realtors, and currently First Vice President of the Monmouth Ocean Regional Realtors.
Darin serves on New Jersey’s Old Bridge Township Council, representing Ward 2. He has served on various township committees and is active in community service and leadership.
