Nick and Beth have been small business owners in their Florida hometown since 2002. They have owned several franchises, including convenience stores and two UPS Stores. In 2005, Nick and Beth sold their franchised businesses and took the leap into a longtime passion: real estate.
“I fell in love with it,” Nick said of his first experiences in real estate. “I liked the fact that I would spend my days getting out, meeting people, and solving problems. Then, there was the data analysis part of it too, which I loved.”
In 2008, Beth obtained her sales license and joined Nick at one of the largest real estate companies in Florida. The duo has been selling together as a team ever since–maintaining top-producer status year after year. Nick is a 12-year winner of the Five Star Professional Award and together they have won numerous Best of Venice Awards.
In 2021, Nicka and Beth took their business to the next level by opening a NextHome franchise. NextHome Suncoast Realty was recently named “Medium Business of the Year” by the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce. The recognition is especially meaningful to Nick and Beth. NextHome Suncoast was chosen after a lengthy vetting process that included dozens of area businesses across multiple industries.
“NextHome’s culture truly resonated with the judges,” Nick said. “They saw something about NextHome that we have always known–that our focus is on being real, and genuinely caring for the people we serve. Both Nick and Beth enjoy giving back to their hometown.
Nick served as the president of the Venice MainStreet Board in 2019, and he has also served on the City of Venice’s Environmental Advisory Board and Code Enforcement Board.
Beth has contributed to her community by serving on the City of Venice Public Art Advisory Board.
Together, they are the parents of two grown children. Their oldest son, Zach, is the owner of Florida Bike and Beach – a rental company that provides accessories to tourists. Their daughter, Lexie, is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Real Estate. She has joined NextHome Suncoast as one of their service-minded associates.
