Pleasanton, CA— August 4, 2017 — NextHome is proud to announce our latest addition to the franchise, NextHome Smith Realty. The brokerage will represent the fourth NextHome franchise location opened in the state of New York. The company will be owned and operated by real estate broker, Bill Smith.
Based out of Nanuet, NextHome Smith Realty will provide residential sales, investment property, luxury home sales, first time home buyers, and relocation services to areas that include Nanuet, Nyack, Middletown, Newburgh, Yonkers, White Plains and the rest of Orange, Rockland, and Westchester counties.
Located approximately 30 miles north of Manhattan, Nanuet is home to nearly 20,000 residents. In 2011, CNN Money ranked Nanuet #76 of Top 100 Best Places to Live.
Starting his real estate career in 2002, Smith started as an appraiser. After learning the craft of valuing properties, he made the natural switch to real estate sales two years later.
As a REALTOR® with Weichert Realtors in Monroe, NY, Smith used his experience in appraisal to earn trust in his community where he steadily built his business, improving sales year-over-year.
In 2007, Smith made the move to Keller Williams Realty in Chester, where over the next decade, he became one of the top producing agents in his brokerage. In 2016, Smith sold in excess of $5 million in volume.
With more than 15 years in the real estate industry, Smith was ready for the next chapter of his career – opening his own brokerage.
“I started a real estate investment company called Fair Deal Homebuyer, where we purchased properties wholesale and renovated them for resale,” said Smith. “The investment company was successful and it seemed like the perfect time to open my own brokerage.”
Smith decided to franchise with NextHome after seeing the benefits of a national franchise who excelled in providing technology to agents.
“I found NextHome through a Google search,” recalls Smith. “Knowing there were two offices in close proximity, I started heavily researching the franchise.”
“Everything about the company was what I was looking for in a franchise,” added Smith.
When not selling real estate, Smith loves the outdoors. He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys the game of golf.
