Pleasanton, CA — December 9, 2022 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Bayou Pines, located in DeRidder, Louisiana. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has 601 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Bayou Pines offers clients exceptional service throughout southwest Louisiana, from the region’s lush bayous all the way to its pristine pine forests. NextHome Bayou Pines serves clients throughout DeRidder, Leesville, Fort Polk, Rosepine, Longville, Ragley, Moss Bluff, Lake Charles, Singer, DeQuincy, Sulphur, Hackberry, Cameron, Iowa, Anacoco, Florien, Many, Toledo Bend, Oberlin, Oakdale, and Kinder.
NextHome Bayou Pines is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Jeremy and Holli Jones. As Louisiana natives, Jeremy and Holli offer a unique perspective on regional real estate.
Jeremy began his real estate career in 2010, and quickly achieved multi-million-dollar producer status. Working with both Coldwell Banker and Exit Realty franchises, Jeremy has been the recipient of several prestigious awards. However, Jeremy considers his greatest achievements to be the lives he has impacted for good.
“I’ve helped a lot of people buy and sell their homes over the years, and living in such a small town, I get to see those people around all the time,” Jeremy said. “Because we focus on putting clients first, we’ve been able to build some amazing relationships that Holli and I really cherish. To me, those relationships are the best part of being in real estate.”
In 2019, Jeremy broadened his professional expertise by working as a loan officer for a local bank. This new role prevented him from working as a real estate sales agent. However, Jeremy still had a remarkable care and concern for his existing clients. Holli shared this dedication, and she obtained her real estate sales license so that these existing clients could continue to receive caring representation. She quickly grew to love real estate.
“The most rewarding part of working in real estate is helping families get started on that American Dream of homeownership,” Holli said. “Helping people achieve their goals, whether that’s buying their first home or watching them grow into a bigger house through the years is all really fulfilling.”
Holli has worked in real estate sales part time while remaining a committed and caring 6-8 school counselor, a role that she will continue as NextHome Bayou Pines continues to grow.
As they considered opening their own franchise in 2020, both Holli and Jeremy knew NextHome was the right fit.
“We first discovered NextHome online, but were reminded of it when we saw a billboard on the way home from our daughter’s softball tournament,” Jeremy said. “You don’t see marketing like that, especially with the orange, and it really caught our eye.”
After the worldwide Covid pandemic and Southwest Louisiana being devastated by back to back Hurricane’s Laura and Delta in 2020, Jeremy and Holli’s dream of franchise ownership took a detour. However, their dream got back on track in 2022 and today NextHome Bayou Pines is ready to serve clients with a unique approach to real estate.
“I have been in real estate for almost 13 years,” Jeremy said. “With the industry-leading tools and support that NextHome offers, that high level of customer service and professionalism that people have come to expect from me will go even higher.”
“NextHome is the next generation in real estate,” Holli added. “They have embraced technology that streamlines our business and helps us spend more time focused on our clients. It’s also a company where people genuinely love what they do and the people they work with. There is no sense of self-importance or pretentiousness. It is a company of real down-to-earth people doing the things they love with forward-thinking tools and technology.”
As NextHome Bayou Pines continues to grow, Jeremy and Holli hope to carry forward NextHome’s Humans Over Houses approach to real estate. That people-first philosophy extends not only to clients, but also to associates who might be thinking they would like a change.
“If anyone is looking for a client-centered brokerage where they can have a voice, come talk to me,” Jeremy said. “Let’s grab a cup of coffee and go over things. We want to be there for our agents on a personal level. They can count on us, their input is important to us, and we are here to support them in a collaborative environment.”
Jeremy and Holli’s genuine care for the people around them extends into their community. Jeremy has cooked turkeys for a local food bank’s Thanksgiving meal, and the family has volunteered at Soul Soup, a local food resource for locals in need. Jeremy & Holli have coached Dixie League Softball and is a former committee member of Beauregard Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited, a national conservation organization.
In addition to her work as a school counselor, Holli is a tireless advocate for mental health with a primary focus on children’s mental health.
Jeremy and Holli are the proud parents of two children: Bayli (17) and Jantz (12). Together, the family enjoys hunting, fishing, LSU Football, and cheering on Bayli as she excels in softball and Jantz while he plays football and golf.
Please join us as we congratulate Jeremy and Holli on the opening of NextHome Bayou Pines in DeRidder, Louisiana!
