Pleasanton, CA — December 29, 2022 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Mountain Horizons, located in Weaverville, North Carolina. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has 609 active office locations across the country.
Located just east of the Great Smoky Mountains, NextHome Mountain Horizons serves clients throughout Asheville, Weaverville, Marshall, Mars Hill, Burnsville, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, Swannanoa, Fairview, and Waynesville.
NextHome Mountain Horizons is owned by David Stephens, a North Carolina native with a wealth of knowledge about the area and a talent for client-centered service.
David obtained his real estate sales license in 2015 after a long career in public safety. Although he began real estate as a part-time job, David quickly realized how much joy this profession brought him.
“I love working with people and seeing them achieve their dreams,” David said. “There’s a certain joy I get when I see my clients buy their first home. These are the places where my clients will be making memories with their friends and family. I feel like I get the privilege of playing a small part in something really big, and that is amazing to me.”
David holds several designations through the National Association of REALTORS®, including Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS™), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA).
In 2020, David obtained his brokers license and opened his own independent firm, NC Mountain Brokers. The brokerage grew to four talented professionals, and developed a reputation for excellent client service.
After being approached by a larger company about joining them, David started looking around at what different franchises offered. That’s when NextHome’s unique marketing and responsive company leadership caught his attention.
“I clicked on the website’s ‘Contact us’ button, and got a personal call from NextHome’s VP of Sales (Charis Moreno),” David recalled. “She was so nice and down to earth. We talked for a long time, and I realized that NextHome was doing exactly what I wanted to do, just on a bigger level. Today, NextHome Mountain Horizons combines David’s care for his clients with NextHome’s industry-leading technology, training, and support.
