Pleasanton, CA — August 1, 2024 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Mims Realty Group, located in Windsor Mill, Maryland. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise which currently has over 600 active office locations across the country.

Conveniently located in the Baltimore metro area, NextHome Mims Realty Group serves clients throughout Baltimore, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Harford counties. The brokerage is additionally licensed to help buyers and sellers in Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Virginia. The office is located at 7265 Windsor Blvd., STE 114 in Windsor Mill.

NextHome Mims Realty Group offers clients expertise in both commercial and residential real estate. Talented agents are ready to help business owners find future-focused properties to accommodate growth. Expert residential agents walk hand-in-hand with each client through investments, right-sizing, first-time home buying, and luxury transactions.

NextHome Mims Realty Group is owned by Hope Mims, a real estate trail blazer who is dedicated to being a partner with every client.

“Whether they are buying, selling, or leasing, our clients have a partner that’s going to walk them through the entire process,” Hope said.

Prior to becoming a full-time real estate agent, Hope spent 20 years in the communications industry. She has been a licensed real estate agent since 2005.

Hope’s unstoppable work ethic as a REALTOR® made her a regional top-producer. She is the President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Greater Baltimore, a trustee for the Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, Secretary for the Real Estate Brokers of Baltimore, and a graduate of the Maryland REALTORS® Leadership Academy.

Hope’s commitment to real estate excellence prompted her to open Mims Realty Group in 2018.

“Early in my career, I was at a closing table with three generations of women,” Hope recalled. “I felt a conviction that this is so much bigger than any commission check. I was really changing people’s lives. By leading my own independent office, I was able to place a bigger emphasis on helping more families see that homeownership is possible.”

Hope’s dedication to her clients built a thriving office. Throughout the past six years, she has built a supportive family culture inside Mims Realty Group with 12 talented associates.

“I want to remain as connected to my agents as I possibly can be, and be accessible to them if they need me,” Hope said. “Each agent here is well-supported and knowledgeable. They understand the industry trends, they’re able to answer their clients’ questions, and if there’s anything they can’t answer they can call me and I’m able to answer it.”

In 2024, Hope’s forward-thinking approach to real estate led her to NextHome.

“The real estate market is changing, and I don’t want to wait for problems to happen before I pivot,” Hope said. “I need to provide something greater for my agents, and empower them to succeed in this changing industry.”

As she considered options, Hope reconnected with a former colleague who is now the owner of a NextHome franchise.

“Although I looked into other companies, I kept coming back to NextHome,” Hope said. “From the very first conversation, NextHome’s communication was exceptional. It was like everybody throughout the entire franchise wanted me to be there.”

Hope knew it was the right move to transition her independent brokerage to a NextHome franchise.

Today, NextHome Mims Realty Group is adding industry-leading marketing, technology, and tools to Hope’s unparalleled area knowledge and customer service.

“The marketing is seamless, clean and it enables us to get our clients property sold quickly,” Hope said. “In addition, the buyer and seller presentations tackle everything. The CRM allows us to stay in touch with buyers long after they have purchased properties, and enables me to build relationships with people that last for years. We are so excited to be a NextHome office.”

In addition to being a driven real estate professional, Hope is the mother of two young adult children. Hope is the chair of Coppin State University’s College of Business Alumni Advisory Board. She enjoys music and spending time with her family and friends.

Please join us in congratulating Hope on the opening of NextHome Mims Realty Group in Windsor Mill, Maryland!
