The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has more than 600 active office locations across the country.
NextHome Clinch Valley (Farragut) serves residential buyers and sellers throughout Knox County, Anderson, Sevier, Blount, Loudon, Campbell, and Scott counties.
Under the leadership of broker/owner Amie Dodson, NextHome Clinch Valley continues to attract top-tier real estate talent.
This new office opens just over one year after NextHome Clinch Valley’s first location launched in Clinton, Tennessee. The Farragut expansion was driven by agent demand.
“I started receiving calls from agents who wanted to join me but felt my existing office was just a bit too far,” Amie said. “The distance was enough to make a difference for some really remarkable area experts. After hearing so many people say, ‘Let us know when you open closer to Knoxville,’ I knew the timing was right. When this building opened up, I made an offer and within two hours the landlord accepted. Everything fell into place so perfectly, I knew this was the right move.”
NextHome Clinch Valley’s Farragut location offers exceptional training spaces, and Amie is excited to offer small group training as agents continue to learn about changes in their industry.
“A lot of that knowledge comes from NextHome’s leadership, who have really led the way in helping us all understand the implications of the NAR lawsuits,” Amie said. “Through all of NextHome’s amazing training, I am hoping to make a difference and elevate real estate knowledge in our area.”
Amie’s track record of helping agents achieve new success in their careers is evident at the Clinton office. Even in a challenging market, nearly every agent at NextHome Clinch Valley experienced sales growth after joining.
“These high performing agents are exceptional at what they do,” Amie said. “I enjoy empowering them to provide every buyer or seller with knowledgeable and friendly real estate experiences.”
Amie embarked on her own real estate career in 2016. Prior to becoming licensed, she built a solid foundation as a transaction coordinator. That foundation allowed Amie to hit the ground running, and she achieved a high watermark of $10.2 million in sales volume her second year. This achievement is even more remarkable in a market where the average sales price hovered around $243,000.
Amie’s friendly, down-to-earth style built a thriving business, and she quickly became one of the top-producing solo agents at her brokerage.
As she considered the next steps for her career, Amie discovered NextHome. The franchise’s Humans Over Houses® tagline caught her attention.

Amie is dedicated to her faith, her family, and her community. Prior to working in real estate, she worked in the non-profit sector with World Help, serving the physical and spiritual needs of people in impoverished communities around the world.
Amie and her husband Nick have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of a 12-year-old daughter, Katie Ann. Together, the family enjoys cheering on Katie Ann at her gymnastics competitions, boating, tubing, and enjoying life on the river. They are also the proud owners of two adorable dogs: Hank and Rosie.
