Pleasanton, CA — March 28, 2018 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Simply Real Estate. The brokerage represents the fourth location opened in the state of Oklahoma for the NextHome franchise.
Based in Noble, the company will be owned and operated by second-generation REALTOR® and Broker, Carolyn Little.
The brokerage will provide real estate services such as single-family residential sales, first-time home buyers, investment, luxury, new construction, relocation, land, and commercial property services to the communities of Noble, Norman, Moore, Lexington, Slaughterville, Purcell, Goldsby, and the remainder of Cleveland, McClain, and Oklahoma counties.
Noble, located just on the outskirts of the city of Norman, is home to just under 7,000 residents. The city is the third largest in population in Cleveland County.
Born and raised in Norman, Little began her career in real estate directly out of high school. In 1979, she started with a local independent real estate brokerage, Abide Realty.
In 1982, she made the move to Better Homes and Gardens real estate, while simultaneously taking college courses at the University of Oklahoma. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the university.
In 1997, she made the move to open her own real estate brokerage after nearly 20 years working for other brokerages and building her successful business.
“I opened Carolyn Little Realty with the hopes of being transparent to my clients and providing a level of service where I was able to focus on my own methods of real estate sales,” said Little. “Whether it was unique marketing on listings, strong negotiation representation, or simply providing a first-class level of service, I wanted to have full ability to provide that to my clients.”
She built the business to be one of the largest and most productive offices in Southwest Cleveland County. Little attributes a portion of the brokerage’s success to the deep relationships she formed with the business communities in both Norman and Noble. Her father was one of the founding business owners who started the Noble Chamber of Commerce.
In 2017, Little met Kimberly Hutson, an Oklahoma broker owner of a NextHome franchise through their connection with the Oklahoma Board of REALTORS®. While Little had several opportunities to sell her brokerage, she enjoyed working with clients and helping agents be better.
Hutson was able to show her the benefits of what NextHome provided her company when she made the switch.
“After having a chance to speak with NextHome’s VP of Sales, Charis Moreno, and finding out more about the company, I loved the technology and the various services the franchise provides our agents,” said Little.
In addition to the real estate service Little provides to the community, she also gives back with many hours of volunteer work.
Over the past 20 years, she has served in various volunteer leadership roles for the Norman Board of REALTORS®. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association.
Little also volunteers with the local Chamber of Commerce, where she has served as President twice. Committed to helping with her church, she is also involved in the local women’s ministry.
Little has been married to her husband Rodney for the past 28 years and the couple have two sons and two grandchildren. When not selling real estate, the Littles enjoy water activities such as fly fishing and sailing.
Please join us in congratulating Carolyn and the rest of the team at NextHome Simply Real Estate on the opening of their brand new NextHome office in Noble, OK!
