Pleasanton, CA — May 25, 2018 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome PPM Realty. This is the fourth NextHome office opened in the state of Pennsylvania.
Based out of the South Hills area of Pittsburgh, the brokerage will be owned and operated by siblings and business partners Reed Pirain, John Pirain, David Pirain, and Renee Vasilko. They are joined on the leadership team by their mother and broker of record, Joan Pirain, as well as the brokerage’s administrative assistant, Leslie Acock.
NextHome PPM Realty is dedicated to serving the needs of clients in South Hills and the remainder of the Southwestern Pennsylvania area which encompasses more than 100 municipalities.
The Pittsburgh metropolitan population is more than 2,400,000 residents and is the 26th largest metro area in the United States.
As second-generation REALTORS®, the four siblings have been exposed to real estate their entire lives. By investing early, they have seen the advantages of owning real estate.
As kids, they started a landscaping business and pooled their profits together. When John turned 18 years old, the group bought their first real estate property. Over the years, they continued purchasing properties and built an incredible ownership portfolio.
In 1988, they started PPM Realty and ran the brokerage as a family owned real estate investment group. Originally focused on properties the family members would purchase for their own investments, the brokerage expanded in the mid-2000’s to represent friends and other investors. PPM Realty also began completing full condominium conversions of apartment complexes.
In 2017, the brokerage sold more than $57 million in real estate with 282 closed real estate sides. These numbers ranked them as the 13th most productive brokerage in all of the Pittsburgh area.
While 2017 was wildly successful, Reed and the team wanted to diversify the business and help their agents be more productive. Franchising was a way to provide more technology and service without having the re-invent the wheel.
