I envisioned a career in real estate for many years before I actually took the leap in 2017. At first glance, it may seem that I had a variety of unrelated jobs but in reality, life was preparing me for the job of my dreams. Ten years as a newspaper advertising representative gave me networking skills and a love of cold calling, the boldness to introduce myself to any and everyone, and a customer base of area businessmen and women. During the post-Katrina years, I was a new home specialist for Cretin Homes. It was here that I met with hundreds of families that were heartbroken and homeless. Many of those families needed homes built that would house the primary family and relatives as well. In addition to all the spoken requests regarding the home design, I had to discern the dynamics of the family unit. I had to understand the relationships – both good and bad – and hear every word that was said but more importantly, every word left unspoken. It was hearing the unspoken words that helped me create living spaces that worked for everyone. It was here that I learned the art of listening. And finally, I was a Pro Specialist for Lowe’s where I worked with contractors, investors, landlords and laborers alike, learning their needs and wants and going the extra mile to ensure that they had what they needed when they needed it. Many of the small contractors had previously felt unseen but because I never calculated my appreciation for their business by the size of their budget, I earned their loyalty. I am exactly where I belong, finally realizing my dream of being a Realtor. It is here that I find myself working for many clients who were formerly customers at my previous jobs. The trust they place in me is not something I take lightly. I worked hard to earn it and I will continue to work hard to keep it. And, now that I am in a position to assist you with one of the largest transactions you will ever make, I sincerely hope that you will allow me the opportunity to serve you and earn your trust and respect as well.

In a much smaller Hammond, Louisiana than the one I know today.
What do you like to do when you’re not selling real estate?
The majority of my free time is spent in the company of my granddaughters, Ryleigh, 10 & Kynslee,6.
Your favorite thing about your neighborhood?
Spacious yards, fresh air, tall trees, horses and cows, families walking and bicycling together.
Who is your hero?
My daddy, who was a divorcee with custody of a tiny girl back when it was absolutely unheard of.
