Tonya Olson
Ten years ago I started an adventure that taught me a lot about community, friendship, family and culture. I took a leap and moved to Alaska at the age of 20. A few years later, and 5 moves between rentals and first time home ownership it was time to move again. This time my family ventured to Montana, where once again we needed to build new friendships, find a new ‘family’ and learn a whole new community.
The military lifestyle was one that forced you to constantly build new friendships, a pseudo family and throw yourself into a new community. Four moves later I found myself back in my hometown, Wisconsin Rapids. This move was to get my kids and myself closer to family. The kids enjoy having family around to take them tubing, hunting, fishing and watch them play sports. I love having the extra help when I want to spend a day or two out in the woods hunting, golfing, PACKER GAMES, or enjoying one of the great bands that come into town.
The years of moving around from state to state lead me to truly understand how hard a move can be, but how smooth it is when you have the right people helping.
In 2019, Renee Anderson and I partnered up and we became Legacy Realty at NextHome Partners. Renee and I are looking forward to all the adventures, both good and bad, that arise in the buying and selling process. Our goal is to provide “Customer Care Beyond Compare”. Our legacy will be determined by how well we help each of our clients achieve their goals and dreams. My experience with Tonya was as text-book perfect as it can get. There is no area in the course of this process that I could really fault. And when compared to my previous house buying process it takes the cake! What is even more than noteworthy is even when I ditched Tonya due to my impatience of wanting to get in to look at a house, she took me back with grace and finished the process with me to find the perfect home!
