Originally from Skowhegan, Maine, Melissa moved to Bangor in 1995 with her husband, Scott, and their daughter Kelsey. In 1997 their second daughter, Kayleigh, was born and the family grew together in this city that they are lucky enough to call home. Before moving to Bangor, Melissa became a licensed cosmetologist. One of her favorite things about being a cosmetologist was the bond she was able to create with her clients, many of whom are now forever friends. It is her dedication to her clients that Melissa feels is the driving force behind the success and positive feedback she has now in real estate.
Melissa has always had an interest in real estate. Years before she became a real estate agent she was always picking up the Real Estate Book and going through it imagining how the houses for sale would look as forever homes. After twenty years as a cosmetologist and fifteen years as a self-employed business owner, Melissa finally took her love of real estate to the next level and gave up her salon business to pursue her passion for realty. She is now an Associate Broker alongside her husband, Scott, at NextHome Experience.
Summer is Melissa’s favorite season because it is a time when she is able to relax with family and friends, go camping, and enjoy the occasional music on the Bangor Waterfront. When she is not doing that, though, she is working hard to ensure that her clients can rest easy knowing that they have a dedicated professional to guide them through any real estate avenue they wish to pursue.

My husband and I recently purchased our first home, we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Being first time home buyers we were a little nervous and didn't know where to start. Missy was amazing she walked us through the steps and pointed
us in the right direction, from there things moved quickly! We were fortunate to find our dream home quick. When we first looked at our home Missy and Scott were both there, they were very knowledgeable and Scott really checked the house over throughly to
make sure it was a good investment for our family. After that we mostly dealt with Missy and she was always readily available if we had any questions and she always kept us informed. In fact during our home buying process Missy and Scott went away on vacation
