They say the third time is the charm, and that what exactly was the case when it came to buying a house with April Jefferson. Emma is incredible. I had a horrible experience with my previous agent while selling my house. Because of this horrible experience, I wanted to find a new agent for the purchase of my new home. I was connected with Emma, and straight off the bat she was focused, determined, and energetic. I know the saying, “ I never could’ve done this without you“ is cliché, but I seriously would not have found my dream house without her. She mentioned a house for me to look at, and I told her that I’ve seen the house online, and loved the house, but couldn’t afford it. She responded with, “Lets go look at it and see what we can do.” We went to look at the house and it was amazing. It had 99% of everything I wanted, but was too expensive. I put in an offer less than asking and crossed my fingers. I was going to drive it out to them, but Emma said she was willing to drive an HOUR out of her way to deliver it to the sellers. When I realized just how dedicated she was as an agent, willing to drive an hour for me, I told her it wasn’t necessary and found an alternative method to deliver the document. Think about that. What agent is willing to drive an HOUR for you? Emma, that’s who. The seller’s agent was shocked that she was willing to go to such lengths for me. Any agent can sell a house and get a paycheck. My wife and I are first time homebuyers, and had done a little research before beginning the process of buying our first home. Needless to say, this was not enough to prepare us for the journey! Not to mention that the home market is out of control with near record level demand for homes! Mike first had a phone call with us to find out what we were looking for in our home, and what we absolutely did not want in our first home. From there, Mike set up an MLS search and started sending us alerts to homes that fit our criteria. Shortly after, we were on our way to building a list of homes we wanted to see.
